China comes to Nigeria, mines our raw materials with little government oversight and at almost no cost, and sends them back to China to manufacture products that are eventually sold to Nigeria and other African countries at significantly higher prices.

It is time we set tribalism aside and start looking inward.

If nothing is done, China could completely take over Nigeria’s economy within the next five years.

Nigeria cannot sell finished products to China, yet we consume almost everything they produce.

What, then, is the future of our children?

It is now a matter of urgency that we develop critical skills within Nigeria and take control of our economy.
