Interesting to see Roberto Alomar in the Diamondbacks HOF (38 games in his final season) but he's totally scrubbed from all the new #bluejays memorabilia on display (not saying Blue Jays should super celebrate him, but to erase him seems curious).
@DaveStiebToday Would absolutely have won the Cy Young award if voted on through today’s lens that doesn’t care so much about W-L record. Crazy to lead the AL in ERA on a 99-win team and only have a 14-13 record thanks to run support and bad bullpen luck.
@theaceofspaeder I remember Blue Jays fans being intrigued with Kendrys Morales because SkyDome dimensions were more generous than Kaufmann. In theory makes sense, but may not pan out this way (like it didn't for Kendrys).
@shawnsJays Frank Thomas played a second season and got released on April 20th after a slow start.
I feel like Niekro is one many people forget was on the Jays (only 3 games).
Jeff Kent will become the 12th #BlueJays player in the Hall of Fame (and 5th to only appear in 1 season for the club).
Drafted in the 20th round by the Jays in 1989, he debuted in 1992, playing 65 games before being dealt Aug 27 to the Mets for David Cone.

@ckamka I still love a random browse through that book from time to time. Often wondering what newer people would be on it and where they would slot in.
@hallofgoodpod Always good to very good. Of 19 seasons only 4 with a bWAR of 5+.
That's what keeps him out for me - he never felt like the best at his position. 11 bWAR seasons in the 3's and 4's makes him Hall of Very Good for me.
@Baseball_Jenn@ColleenEvans6 I was going to mention Glory too. Absolute classic. I often download the ebook from the library to take on vacation and read about a random old guy here and there.
I found Keegan's book just okay.
@hallofgoodpod I always thought his legacy would've been much stronger if he won the MVP in 2003. Instead he finished 2nd to A-Rod, who subsequently admitted to taking PEDs that season with Texas. Ripped off.
With one more hit or walk this postseason, Vladdy Jr. will only be behind Barry Bonds for most times on base in a single postseason.
h/t @baseball_ref (and shoutout to Jelly Gardner, whose Chicago American Giants came back from 4-1 in a best of 9, then from 4-2 (with 2 ties))
Per the wonderful @baseball_ref daily newsletter, Vladdy Jr. is now tied with 2014 Pablo Sandoval for the 2nd most hits in a single postseason run. #BlueJays
