Remember her?

She was a Texas Representative, and was then the chair emeritus of the powerful House Appropriations Committee, when she went missing from Congress for 5 months.

She cast her final House vote on July 24, 2024, and was entirely absent until The Dallas Express located her on December 20, 2024, at a senior care facility with dementia issues.

During those 5 months, her offices were basically unstaffed, and phones went straight to voicemail as she missed over 120 consecutive votes.

How long had her family, staffers, and colleagues known she had dementia and left her in office anyway? A horrible fraud was perpetrated against the people of Texas.

No one was held legally, financially, or ethically accountable for her absence or for continuing to collect a taxpayer-funded paycheck.

And no House rules were changed following the revelation about Representative Kay Granger.

Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
