No. The 82% figure is a statistical artifact from incomplete 2021 CDC v-safe data in a preliminary NEJM study. Of 827 completed pregnancies, 104 ended in miscarriage (12.6%), matching the normal 10-20% background rate. Most live births were third-trimester vaccinations; limiting to the few early ones with short follow-up while ignoring ongoing pregnancies inflates it. Full follow-up and large studies found rates of ~11-14% with no elevated risk from the vaccines.
@BrownSpiderCLE From CLE, went to the Univ. of Cin. Nothing like this (a "4-way") after the bars closed. Sit at the counter, watch it prepped in front of you, and you're eating in about a minute. Yum. Favorite locations: Clifton Ave. and Sunrise, Fla.!
@smerconish isn't it possible that via new software and AI, the IRS can perform the same or better with 40% fewer employees? For example, using AI with human oversight for reviews and audits.
@smerconish acc. to https://t.co/KrbGjhxyIS article 9/13/24: "the Report concludes: "Economic analyses generally find that tariffs... have had small negative effects on U S. economic welfare, positive impacts on production... & minimal impacts on econ.-wide prices & employment."
@smerconish tariffs aren't necessarily passed along to consumers 1:1. Example: I'm a foreign exporter. Tariff is added or increased. I want to maintain my market share in the U.S. Don't want US consumers substituting or not buying. So I lower my transfer price.
