@A_n_b_e_S_i_vam So, not a WhatsApp claim. I have a nuanced and clear take on this, as a classical musician. But it was indeed funny that you picked a composition that was controversial about copyright, to try arguing that claims of musical similarities against ARR were bunkum.
@A_n_b_e_S_i_vam Carefully read ARRs argument: It had been publicly performed and published by various renowned artists, and was freely available in the public domain, none of whom credited or attributed it to the Junior Dagar Brothers or the Plaintiff. You see the problem with this?
@A_n_b_e_S_i_vam Even if that is true, doesn’t mean that the music doesn’t exist and wasn’t used line for line. Also, the Dagar brothers’ father, was the creator of that music (this is known). It is essentially a technicality. In terms of copyright I would tend to agree more with the first judge.
