@BlueGeorgia Why does counting ballots–no matter how long it takes–equal fraud to these bozos? Perhaps a slow, methodical, careful counting roots out any fraud.
@Acyn@KellyannePolls saying this with a straight face is rich. She overlooked countless Trump scandals and corruption and debased herself on the regular to hold onto power!
@FlashReport Voting should be easy–that’s what makes for a healthy democracy. Making people stand in line for hours or miss work to vote or making it hard for the elderly or sick to vote doesn’t make voting any more legal–it just puts up roadblocks for citizens to vote. Trump votes by mail!
@LarrySabato@JohnJHarwood What everyone instinctively knows is that the speaker is full of shit! There is nothing suspicious about two democratic candidates winning a primary in a mostly democratic city.
@AndrewKolvet A woman who won her city council race in 2020 and in 2024, but has “zero following, no groundswell of support and no name recognition,” and beat a Republican no one ever heard of in a city where 80 percent of the electorate are Dems! Def suspicious!
@mehdirhasan This is the leader of the free world and he’s a pathetic baby throwing a tantrum because someone challenged his bullshit about stolen elections. He’s not man enough to handle a an interview, no less the job he’s in. Trump is a stain on the presidency and the country.
The intense media focus on Graham Platner is understandable. He is an unknown in a crucial Senate race with a lot of baggage. Less understandable is the lack of coverage of Ken Paxton, whose sins are far worse. That it is “old news” is no excuse. Most voters have no clue.
@myoung512@AP Why don’t you ask if Trump has better shit to do as POTUS than illegally plastering his name where it doesn’t belong, erecting golden statues of himself, adding tacky gold crap to the WH, building a billion dollar plus ballroom, paving over the rose garden . . . surely he must!
@SarahHuckabee Your president is an amoral philander, crook, liar and cheat, and you’ll always be remembered as a person who was paid to lie for him, Sarah. Take a seat.
“Fifty-four years ago, in 1971, my grandmother Katharine Graham, publisher of The Washington Post, risked everything to stand up to a corrupt president. That president sought to destroy her newspaper’s autonomy. Today, faced with another such president, Jeff Bezos, the paper’s new owner, is tearing down the very newspaper she defended.”
We had Pearson on the show this week with @jessica_m_wash to talk about this fight. Hear the conversation on the latest episode of the Intercept Briefing —>
@SenAshleyMoody Why did Republicans give the king a standing ovation when he hailed the role of Congress to keep the executive in check, something you refuse to do.
