@ray4tesla@Tesla_AI No they don't. If the user decides to decive the system, it's not Tesla's responsibility to solve it. Same as carmakers don't need to add mechanism to block drivers from placing a brick on the accelerator and then complaining they got into an accident.
@wholemars Just invest in tqqq. Risky but best compound interest for long term investment. Based on historic data $50k today can be worth $1.4-2m in 10 years (if past 10 year performance repeats itself)
@yunta_tsai I beg to differ. 16 Psyche in the astroid belt. Psyche contains so much gold, iron, and nickel that its total resource value could exceed $10,000 quadrillion.
But I agree that it's not for the faint of heart.
@wholemars I hope that at some point Tesla would allow last chance FSD transfer to MYL. Was really hoping to get one but donโt want to give away my purchased FSD
@RyanOnTheLoose@walls_jason1@Orchidoptera@wholemars But even Turo requires returning the vehicle to the owner in the original location. I think the issue here is a one way trip, which is common with rentals yet seems impossible with renting a vehicle with FSD
@walls_jason1@Orchidoptera@wholemars Some Tesla locations rent but you probably need to return it to the same location. Itโs also only a few locations
@wholemars Lots of candidates on the left so vote is very split. Also, California had at least 2 famous Republican Governors: Ronald Reagan and Schwarzenegger
@niccruzpatane But with what bandwidth? Existing mobile phones (iPhone and Android) are not compatible with spectrum SpaceX recently acquired.
So itโs either for future phones or SpaceX will have to acquire a US carrier to get bandwidth already supported with existing phones.
@JoeTegtmeyer@SpaceX@NASAArtemis SpaceX should send starship tankers to mars orbit in 2028 to prepare for 2030 mission. Maybe also one with Starlink satellites to start building Mars internet and link to earth.
@SteveHiltonx Why is Texas leading California on solar AND wind WITHOUT subsidies?
Just cut subsidies and red tape and let the market find the cheapest electric generation. No subsidies for oil, solar, wind, nuclear. Let the market decide.
@Gfilche@Amy787@Tesla@robotaxi That might explain why standard mode has almost completely removed the nag. If itโs using the same model unsupervised autonomous Robotaxi is using, then it doesnโt need the nag anymore.
@wholemars Boilerplate for Elon industries - just as competition thinks it has cought up with Elon companies (EV, reusable rockets), Elon companies take another HUGE step forward and leaves everyone else in the dust ๐ฅณ
@larsmoravy Given Cybercabs are likely to be mostly rear-ended, maybe it needs to have a more resilient (yet compliant), pertruding and easy to replace rear bumper so downtime after a rear end colission is as short as possible - and that rear bumper can also absorb most of the force so passengers are safe. Hard balance to achieve (resilient but absorbing) but worth the effort to reduce injury and downtime.
