In Keralam, two weeks ago, communists supported the marriage of a 16 year old non Keralite girl to a man, claiming they were in love.

Her father opposed it for two reasons: she is only 16, and they had known each other for just six months.

Despite his objections, they went ahead with the marriage, issued a certificate, and even presented it as “The Real Kerala Story.”

Those who supported it focused on religion as the reason for opposition, but ignored the elephant in the room. Now the same case has turned into a POCSO case.
