During my recent visit to one of our HPCL retail outlets — Kishore Filling Station, Lucknow — I found myself wondering: Was this truly a fuel station, or something far beyond it?
What I witnessed was a thoughtfully created customer space reflecting care, culture, inclusivity & pride. From exceptionally clean surroundings & restrooms to a dedicated “Utility Point for Women” & Fueling Island for Women customers, every detail reflected genuine customer-centric thinking. The beautiful Madhubani paintings on the walls added warmth & character, transforming the outlet into a welcoming public space rather than just a transit point.
This is the future we are striving to build at HPCL — retail outlets that go beyond fuel dispensing to become benchmarks in customer experience, safety, cleanliness, inclusivity, convenience & community connect. Our aspiration is to make every customer touchpoint meaningful, where people feel respected, comfortable, valued & proud to associate with the HPCL brand.
Heartiest compliments to the entire team behind this wonderful effort. May this inspire many more “best-in-class” outlets across our network as we continue shaping a more customer-focused & future-ready @HPCL@HardeepSPuri@neerajmittalias@PetroleumMin #TrustOnTheMove #RetailExcellence #CustomerFirst #BeyondFuel #WomenFriendlySpaces #BestInClass #OneHPCL #HPCL
#StayCalmIndia#NoShortage#Barabanki@AbidKhadri@hpcl_retail
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) continues to lead from the front in managing India’s evolving energy demand landscape, delivering record operational throughput while maintaining seamless supply across the country.
Between 1st and 10th April 2026, HPCL recorded sales of 3,79,827 KL of Petrol (MS) and 6,91,189 KL of Diesel (HSD), translating into a movement of over 10.7 lakh KL of fuel—one of the highest supply cycles in recent times. This was enabled through the deployment of 70,540 tankers, ensuring real-time replenishment and uninterrupted availability across its extensive retail network.
At a time when demand has surged across multiple markets, HPCL’s ability to combine scale, speed, and coordination has ensured that supply remains steady and responsive nationwide.
In the LPG segment, HPCL has further reinforced its leadership, delivering 146.4 lakh cylinders during the same period. The Company’s robust infrastructure continues to operate at peak capacity, ensuring timely deliveries even under elevated demand conditions.
The growing demand for Free Trade LPG cylinders—2,94,126 units of 5 Kg and 20,112 units of 2 Kg—also reflects HPCL’s expanding role in enabling inclusive and flexible energy access, particularly for migrant and economically vulnerable households.
A defining pillar of HPCL’s operational excellence is its near-total digital ecosystem. With 99.2% of LPG bookings now routed through digital platforms, the Company is setting new benchmarks in customer convenience, speed, and transparency. Each delivery is secured through DAC/OTP authentication, ensuring a seamless and tamper-proof consumer experience.

International crude prices have gone through the roof in the last 1 month from around 70 dollars/barrel to around 122 dollars/barrel. Consequently, petrol and diesel prices for consumers have gone up all over the world. Prices have increased by around 30%-50% in South East Asian countries, 30% in North American countries, 20% in Europe and 50% in African countries.
The Modi Government had two choices- either increase prices drastically for citizens of Bharat as all other nations have done or bear the brunt on its finances so that Indian citizen is insulated from international volatility.
Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji, in keeping with his Government’s commitment of last 4 years since the conflict in Russia-Ukraine started, decided to take a hit on its own finances again to safeguard the Indian citizen.
Government has taken a huge hit on it taxation revenues to ensure very high losses of oil companies (approximately 24 Rs/litre for petrol and 30 Rs/litre for diesel) at this time of sky high international prices are reduced. At the same time, export tax has been levied as international prices of petrol and diesel have skyrocketed and any refinery exporting to foreign nations will have to pay export tax. My gratitude to Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji and Hon’ble FM @nsitharaman Ji for this very timely, bold and visionary decision!

The energies of sustainability, fabric and fashion came together in a spellbinding confluence at a unique fashion show put together by my friend, India’s acclaimed fashion designer and couturier - the Maestro @JJValaya6 Ji at India Energy Week 2026.
Among other materials, this eco-conscious show focused on using sustainable, recycled PET bottles, and innovative fabrics to reduce textile waste while maintaining a conscious aesthetic and embodied the philosophy of “Discarded, but never out of style” espoused by an environment friendly cause such as this.
I frequently wear jackets made as a part of the ‘Unbottled’ initiative of energy Maharatna @IndianOilcl which transforms plastic waste into high-value sustainable fashion, and have now requested the IndianOil Chairman Mr. A.S. Sahney Ji to consider popularising the elegance of sustainable fabrics into a long-lasting fashion line.

Guided by the transformative vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh @narendramodi Ji, country’s oil and gas PSUs are evolving into technology-driven, profitable and future-ready energy institutions.
A 206% increase in 9 months Profit After Tax(PAT) to ₹12274 cr and 35% increase in Quarterly profit to ₹4072 cr of @HPCL demonstrates how strong economic outcomes and long-term energy transition can progress together.
Refineries operating beyond nameplate capacity, steady growth in fuel and LPG revenues and continued reduction in debt levels reflect a resilient pathway to long term profitability.
At the same time, focused progress in renewable integration—solarisation of retail outlets, expansion of CNG infrastructure, trials for sustainable aviation fuel, and rapid advancement of the Rajasthan Refinery will drive future growth.
Bharat’s energy journey today is about scale with responsibility, innovation with reliability, and reform with results—securing a cleaner, stronger, and globally competitive energy future for the nation. 🌱🔥
