Breaking news this morning: Activist Sonam Wangchuk, who was sitting on a hunger strike from last 20 days at Jantar Mantar, taken to the hospital by the police. Delhi Police claim that they are acting on court orders: truth is, court asked govt to monitor his health and not forcibly whisk him away or ask protestors to vacate Jantar Mantar. 🙏
Dear @Paytm@Paytmcare, my settlement of ₹3,926.50 has been pending since yesterday. The app promised 2–3 hours, but the amount is still not credited to my bank account. Please resolve this urgently. This delay is affecting my business. #Paytm#SettlementIssue

Recalling my article last week on the CJP phenomenon: The Cockroach Janta Party is not a party. It is no more and no less than the public. It is not a movement, just a moment. And that is why it matters. It offers a rare glimpse of an energy that can reclaim the republic from authoritarian assault. This is not a wave, but an undercurrent. It would be a mistake to dismiss it. Or use the calculus of conventional political analysis to measure its impact.
