Several things that make it a good fake that worked: 👇
1. No culprit named yet, I bring it on a platter, people like to have a culprit.
2- The culprit seems completely stupid, he is proud of his stupidity, he... takes his afternoon off on... the first day of work...
3- This falls right into a huge buzz in which people absolutely need to have new information, and a fake is by nature new, you won't read it anywhere else
4- In English = very easy to share internationally, with the vast majority of people who have no idea who I am.
5- Baby fingers are stupid, but they distract people from other things (like the fact that I have a horn on my head because of bad clipping)
6- Confirmation bias: People want to believe it, it's so funny. “I like the information, so it is true.”
7- The information is pushed ironically by people who know that it is a joke, and then it arrives in the litteral zone which amplifies it even stronger.

Percentage vs Percentile

இரண்டுமே பார்க்க ஒன்று போல் இருந்தாலும் percentageக்கும் percentileக்கும் பெரிய வித்தியாசம் உண்டு.

பெர்சண்டேஜ் என்பது சதவீதம். நூறில் எத்தனை பங்கு எனக் கணக்கிடுவது. உதாரணமாக 100 மதிப்பெண் தேர்வில் 50 பெர்சண்டேஜ் என்பது 50 மதிப்பெண்கள். இந்த பெர்சண்டேஜ் எத்தனை பேர் தேர்வு எழுதினாலும் மாறாது. யார் எத்தனை மதிப்பெண் எடுத்தாலும் மாறாது. 50 தான்.

பெர்சண்டைல் என்பது அனைத்து மாணவர்களும் எடுத்த மதிப்பெண்களை வரிசைப்படுத்தி அதில் ஒரு இடத்தை குறிப்பது. உதாரணமாக, ஒரு தேர்வில் 9 மாணவர்களின் மதிப்பெண்கள் = 89, 90,90,91,92, 96,98,98,99.
இதில் 50வது பெர்சண்டைல் = 92.
அதாவது 50% மாணவர்கள் 92க்கு மேல் பெற்றுள்ளனர். 50% மாணவர்கள் 92க்கு கீழ் பெற்றுள்ளனர்.
50th percentile is 92.

இதே தேர்வு சற்று கடினமாக இருந்தது என வைத்துக் கொள்வோம். அப்போது மதிப்பெண்கள் = 18,22, 34, 35, 36, 40,41,41,42
50th percentile is = 36
அதாவது 50% மாணவர்கள் 36க்கு மேல் மதிப்பெண் பெற்றுள்ளனர். 50% மாணவர்கள் 36க்கு கீழ் பெற்றுள்ளனர்.

நீட் தேர்வில் நெகடிவ் மதிப்பெண் உண்டு.

ஸீரோ பெர்சண்டைல் என்பது ஸீரோ மதிப்பெண் அல்ல. இருப்பதிலேயே கடைசி மதிப்பெண். அதாவது கடைசி மதிப்பெண் நெகடிவில் இருந்தாலும் அதுதான் ஸீரோ பெர்சண்டைல்.

எனவே முட்டை மதிப்பெண்ணுக்கும் கீழ் நெகடிவ் மதிப்பெண் எடுத்தாலும் சீட் உறுதி.
