I think Arun Matheswaran watched Kill Bill when he was young, got so influenced by it that he decided all his movies would be Kill Bill style revenge dramas as an ode to QT 😂

#DC is a solid revenge drama & Arun's most engaging movie so far. Straightforward story, executed well with 4-5 great stretches. Loki is at ease & convincing as Devdas. Wamiqa is phenomenal as Chandra. I loved Avinash Raghudevan, he puts in a screamer of a performance as Kitty. Semma actor!

Ani is in God Mode & erakifies his career best work. Already been bingeing the OST the last couple weeks so much so that every time a track played, I was like 'hey that's Malayala, that's Echoes of DC, that's The Rose, that's Raga of Revenge, that's Thaalam Trip.' Indeed. What a trip it was. The musical packaging elevates the movie to another level. Majamax!

Very curious to know how much Loki & Arun got paid for this movie & how much more Ani got compared to both of them 😂
