I strongly condemn the attack on Santoshi Mata Temple in Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad, by Mohammed Ansari, who raised religious slogans while desecrating the deity.

Repeated attacks on Hindu temples expose the Congress Government’s shameful failure to protect Hindu places of worship.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s “Congress means Muslims, Muslims mean Congress” rhetoric, coupled with his government’s silence, raises serious questions about its commitment to protecting Hindu sentiments.

Enough of appeasement politics. Stop protecting vote banks and start protecting Hindu temples.

The people of Telangana will not accept this selective silence any longer.

#Hyderabad:

Three #residents of the 2 BHK Police Housing Society in #Madannapet were taken into #custody after a reported #communalincident during #Ganeshimmersion and an #Annadanam programme on Sunday.

According to #Charminar Zone DCP Kiran Khare, residents allegedly threw non-vegetarian material, described by police as #beef, downward from the housing complex while the immersion procession and Annadanam were underway.

Police rushed to the spot and detained Mohammad Imran Qureshi, Arshiya Begum and Sameena, all residents of the housing society.

The DCP said stringent #legalaction will be taken against the three, with strong sections likely to be invoked.

Protesters gathered at the spot following the incident, but police said the situation is now peaceful and traffic has returned to normal.

#Police also said the grievances of residents and protesters have been addressed.

I urge the @hydcitypolice @CPHydCity @SajjanarVC_IPS and @TelanganaDGP to immediately investigate reports of individuals allegedly using Rapido or other bike-taxi services to specifically target Hindu girls and women.

If these allegations are found true, there must be swift and stringent action against every person involved. Such incidents cannot be taken lightly, and the motive and any organised pattern behind them must also be thoroughly investigated.

I appeal to all Hindu sisters and women to remain vigilant, prioritise their safety and immediately report any suspicious or threatening behaviour to the police.
