National Handloom Day Special...
We at @vidyakshetra Gurukulam are working towards clothing that is sustainable, eco-friendly and a dream which our leaders such as Sri Aurobindo Ji, Gandhi Ji and many more have always been trying to fulfil.
With the art of weaving clothes on a handloom slowly losing it's grip in Bharat, our effort towards reviving it started 5 years back with one handloom unit and 1000 metres of woven cloth.
This year we plan to reach 10,000 metres of cloth. 22 students are learning how to weave cloth on our handloom units from 4 in-house weavers.
Apart from preparing the cotton thread, they weave, naturally dye, block print and stitch their own clothes.
This video is a small representation of our effort which we want share on this #NationalHandloomDay
We appeal all our countrymen & women to start encouraging and wearing handloom woven clothes.
It will take care of the health and wealth of our country for the rest of the days and years to come...

Europe and India have some of the highest indirect taxes in the world.
- US State sales tax: 2.9% to 7.25%
- EU: 17% to 27%
- UAE: 5%
- Australia: 10%
- Canada: 5%
- China: 6% to 13%
- India: 5% to 28%
Indirect taxes hit everyone.
At least in Europe: you get good pavements to walk. And, non-eroded roads.
What do we get after paying so much GST?
@Investor_Mohit Indian market due to its vast population and stable geopolitical climate and stable regulatory policies. Africa on other hand is a tough terrain to navigate due to its fragmented nature and unstable administrations.

Has any state govt thought about delivering essentials on a push cart. This way I believe we can maintain hygiene standards and further cut down the risks of contagion by stopping people from going out. @mla_sudhakar@drharshvardhan@PMOIndia@TelanganaCMO#lockdownindia

@DDNational@MoHFW_INDIA@drharshvardhan@PIB_India Please include people with travel history to affected nations as a category to be quarantined. I am totally disappointed that despite many cases in India are from foreign travel this category has been excluded.
A lot of firms in India are still not promoting work from home which is putting a lot of lives under threat. Consider the case of #Google#Bangalore where a person with travel history was allowed into office premises. Only time will tell us where we stand
