@PeaseRoland Thank you for the years of excellent reporting, SinA will be greatly missed here, as will your dulcet tones. I hope your future, and the future of in-depth science on the BBC is bright. Per ardua...?
The best study, by far, of paracetamol / Tylenol in pregnancy is open access. There is no sign of any harm, Trump and RFK Jr are talking through their ****. You can read the paper at https://t.co/yMySOWMvgx
@DavidEpstein@substack That sounds suspiciously like your account might have been compromised. Bad actors turning on MFA to prevent the valid actor managing their account is a known strategy.
"The Gulf of... Gulf of..."
Yep, I found myself on the front lines of that mess for the first time ... and trust me, it's darned if you do, darned if you don't.
I'm in the UK but listen to the World Service. Science in Action is the best science programme bar none, and @PeaseRoland an outstanding journalist. I know budgets are tight, but this is the wrong decision.
The cuts to the @bbcworldservice are deeply regrettable. I used to say it was the one part of the corporation I would die in a ditch to protect. And theyβre closing Science in Action which has been on air for 60 odd years. Now of all times they roll back science coverage. Dumb.
