@josepsburner Thoda bahut toh han hoga. 17W hai TDP difference dono ka (28W vs 45W). That's acceptable. 3-4 hours unplugged even in proper work tasks should be fine. Uske aage if you need to use it can be an issue, AMD might give you 1 hr more.

@josepsburner Adobe premiere is for videos right? Light use ka medium bhi ho gaya toh AMD may feel slow. Lele Intel. Multi core performance + more performance cores are needed. Point is, if your cpu is a bottleneck, you can only change it by buying a whole new laptop. 🤷‍♂️

@josepsburner Kitna kaam hai uspe depend karta hai. Teams, office, browser hi hai toh AMD and 24GB is good enough. But if you're going to be using it for computing, development work, then get the intel.

@josepsburner I've used ideapads before. Their build quality is absolute dogshit. I'd say go in a store and take a feel for both?
Re the CPUs, Intel is obv better (better caches, multi core perf- important assuming you'll use it for work). Only positive w AMD- it might give you better battery
