Got my Indian passport renewed within exactly 7 days by the Indian embassy in SFO. Including police verification of my house in India. I called my parents living in India to say “the police might knock today to verify the address” and they said it was done earlier in the day. The officer who visited my house refused to even take a cup of coffee — can’t believe there used to be a time when we had to “pay” that officer.

Standing in line in the Apple Store for the last 10 minutes to pick up a $1200 phone that I already paid for.
Apple Store experience feels like Walmart on Blackfriday.

If my 14’s battery wasn’t dying and if it didn’t use the outdated lighting cable, I wouldn’t be in this line at all today. And don’t even get me started on how terrible their AI game is. Will probably move to the Google ecosystem soon.

You know what AI can never disrupt? Passport and visa processes.
Had an unfortunate month where I had to apply so a Schengen visa twice (one via VFS and another via TLS) AND renew my passport. I have Instinct and Muse and neither could help beyond basic application filling.

- TLS gave me a link to pay that never worked. Took me 5 days of calling them to get someone to accept a payment
-Pages that don’t work, circular links that lead to nowhere- VFS
-Vague instructions (this is what happens when outsourced developers do design and copy)

@Muse tried to get an appointment with a certain embassy, but gave up after two days saying its run doesn’t fire on time, and had the audacity to tell me I should do it myself.

Came back from Disneyland and it was truly magical!
