Today's our final visit to Rijksarchief Brugge. All 16 fragments we have found here are now available on Fragmentarium. Highlights include a map of the Holy Land, a Middle French Golden Legend, a Middle Dutch poem and a polyphonic mass by Pierre de la Rue. https://t.co/FVCXJrT4lt
In Antwerp we found two strips from an Old French epic text. We'd be very grateful to anyone who could help us with the identification of this text. The main character in the passage is a duke 'H' but unfortunately the scribe has abbreviated the name. https://t.co/zQ4yWOtI4u

A rather unexpected find! An autograph note written by the early French humanist Jean Lebègue. Lebègue, as an official of the royal Chambre des comptes, signed on the back of an official transcript of a document, which in turn was later recycled as a pastedown in Courtrai MS 47.
