I almost cried on the way back from NFT NYC.

Time to reflect on what happened last week.

I went to the US for the first time, doxxed, went to 10+ web3 events and made a lot of friends along the way.

…Oh, and I also distributed over 4000 Froots juice bottles for free…all within the span of a week.

I’ve been working on @frootsnft for almost 2 years now, there has been a lot of ups and downs, I’ve been called a rugger, PnDer, etc…by many people just because of the FP, but I’ve always kept it real with the community and never stopped showing up.

Last week was an opportunity to show everyone that we’re not going anywhere, that we’re here to stay and that we have a tangible product.

I’ve poured my heart into the making of our juices, from the labels, to the logo, the formulations, etc… It took a lot of time but imo having a killer product is key, as I strongly believe that nothing is more important than word of mouth.

But even though I was/am supremely confident in our products, I started having doubts prior to NFT NYC. Before NYC, only 20ish people including the team had tried the juices.

So going into NFT NYC, knowing that hundreds of people were going to try our juices for the first time was a bit stressful.

But everything went well, people LOVED the juices, I’ve been extremely overwhelmed by the amount of positive feedback we’ve received.

I didn’t go to the official conference but I attended and supplied a lot of events.

The goal was to be everywhere to make sure everyone gets a chance to try our juices…and it worked.

I personally spent hours in Ubers to deliver the juices myself to each events, even spent 2h waiting in the rain to give bottles to people waiting in line at the ME party.

We also gave away a lot of bottles to staff members who work at the venues where the aforementioned events were hosted.

I’m so relieved. I know that this is just the start and that the job is far from being done but I’m so happy that everything went well and that people love our juices.

Seeing people come back to grab more bottles or ask where they can buy them made my day.

This is extremely motivating and validating, ngl after 2 years of working on Froots I really needed that. 🫶

Side note: This was my first time attending web3 events, I had such a great time. Everyone was super cool and easy to talk to. All the CT "influencers", KOLs and founders I met were chill and nice.
