It’s only fair if X shuts down their accounts, or at least labels them as state media or propaganda.

Gaza’s blackout was front-page news worldwide. A days long shutdown rightly triggered statements from the UN, nonstop coverage, and outrage from politicians and celebrities. Yet Iran has been living under one of the longest and most severe digital blackouts on earth and somehow it is treated like a side story. Why is a blackout in Gaza a global emergency but a weeks long blackout in Iran barely registers in headlines or political talking points.
