@NJTRANSIT_NLR There are no posters or announcements up about this. No signage as to where the buses are picking passengers up at & who wrote this poorly written sentence?!
“Familiarity breeds contempt. Distance breeds respect.”
There’s a strange law of human nature:
The more available you are,
the less you're valued.
The more rare your presence,
the more people watch their words around you.
Parents stop yelling.
Old friends start watching.
And those who once overlooked you start overthinking.
Why?
Because your absence forces them to confront your value.
Because being seen less makes every interaction mean more.
Because when you build in silence, people begin to wonder who you're becoming.
So disappear.
Focus on your mind.
Build your body.
Stack your money.
And return like a ghost they can’t ignore.
Let them miss you.
Let them question you.
Let them respect you —
from a distance.
Having an aura that attracts everyone can be so confusing. You don’t always know if someone truly likes you, or just likes the way you make them feel, or the way they feel about themselves when they’re with you, or if they only like your accomplishments, or some mix of it all.
@MalikThaElite First off sorry for your loss. I would highly recommend it. Even if you don't say anything maybe hearing others stories will help in your grief
just saw a TikTok that says “we are all selective sinners. we choose the sins we are comfortable with, and judge the people who commit the sins we’re not comfortable with” and I’m afraid this is true 😭
Sheriff Waters of Jacksonville says Anthony McNeil Jr a 22-year-old, caused police to react the way they did and accuses McNeil of trying to set the public against law enforcement. Police can be seen repeatedly beating McNeil. 👀🤔
