CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT, As I turn 43 this year, I have realised, as a man, no one cares about you. Not your wife. Not your family. Not your friends. Not your workmates. Nobody. People act like they care, but deep down, they don't. You are on your own. Always on your own.
As Nigeria dey now.

No one talks about how hard 21 to 35 really is. You’re building a life while healing from one, as your parents age and friends drift away. Your career feels uncertain, and most days you’re just surviving—but even then, you’re doing better than you think.
Good morning, 🌞 great people! This is today's reminder: A peaceful life does not come from having everything you want. It comes from gratitude, acceptance, and learning to focus on the good that still exists in your life.
Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day. Grant our country peace, provide opportunities for the jobless, heal the sick, guide our steps, and fill our hearts with hope, wisdom, and strength. May Your grace be with us all. Amen!
The Arabic word for "womb" is "rahm" (رحم). The word for "mercy" is "rahma" (رحمة). Same root. Arabic is telling you: the first mercy you ever received was a place that held you before you could hold yourself.

Yesterday, around 9:30 to 10 pm, I encountered phone snatchers on Tukur Road near the Kano Race Course Polo Club while I was leaving the 1410 Hotel after a few conversations with a friend. He had insisted on dropping me off, but I refused, telling him I would just walk along and stop at Barakat Stores to get a few things. If I had allowed him to drop me off, If i had knew what would happen i would have allowed him
As I was walking down the street, I noticed three men standing on the roadside. I thought they were regular police officers, not realizing they were phone snatchers. I continued walking and made a phone call without thinking twice. In an instant, the three men surrounded me, holding some kind of sharp object in their hands. I remained calm and cut the phone call. I looked at the one who seemed to be their leader and handed him my phone. I was certain that if I made any move, one of them would definitely stab me, which would be a waste of my life.
This was the iPhone I had intended to give my junior sister as a gift for passing her exams, while I plan on getting myself another one. The saddest part of all this is that they would sell my phone for nothing more than 200k because it would be very difficult to bypass its security. I had bought this phone for a million plus, and now they have put me in a situation where I have to spend another million plus to get another one.
Allah ya isa wallahi.
