If the concern was truly for students and their well-being, then why were queries raised on a process that they themselves had followed for years without any objection?

If this was not a deliberate attempt to delay the process, then what is?

Our intent is transparent. The elected government had already sent the proposal for relaxation, and now the Hon’ble Chief Minister @OmarAbdullah Sb has sent a proposal to the Chairman, JKPSC, to postpone the exams.

All that is required is for them to act without any further delay!

Good luck to those who genuinely stood their ground and fought till their last breath for justice. They spoke, pleaded, knocked on every door; only to be met with silence. In the end, politics sat comfortably at the table, while JKAS aspirants were offered up without a second thought. Files moved, statements were issued, optics were managed, but justice never showed up; but justice never arrived.

To ruin a blooming garden, once a single owl was enough; today, when an owl perches on every branch, what fate can that garden possibly escape?

This was not destiny. This was delayed by design, cruelty wrapped in procedure, and indifference masked as governance. Dreams were paused, savings drained, families burdened, and mental health stretched to the breaking point; while the system watched, unmoved. The exam may happen, but something far more precious has been postponed indefinitely; the faith of the youth in the system meant to protect them!

With severe air travel disruptions and uncertainty over age relaxation, thousands of aspirants are facing unnecessary stress. Even the Hon’ble Chief Minister has officially written to JKPSC requesting a postponement in the interest of fairness and equal opportunity.

#KNSUPDATE || Social media posts with regard to JKPSC exam are misleading. Lok Bhavan had received the file on 2nd Dec, 2025 which was categorically related to Age Relaxation only.

File was returned the same day, 2nd Dec, 2025, with a query whether it is logistically possible to conduct exam on 7th Dec, by incorporating modifications in eligibility criteria at such a belated stage.

Despite lapse of 4 days Lok Bhavan did not receive any response. I fully sympathize with young aspirants.

The advertisement notice for the examination was published by the J&K Public Service Commission on 22.08.2025. The exam was notified to be conducted on 07.12.2025 through a notice on 06.11.2025: Tweets LG @manojsinha_

The JKAS age relaxation issue is turning out yet another classical case of passing the buck at the cost of young aspirants.

First CM posted suggesting that he had no role in the scuttling of the age relaxation file. And now the LG has suggested that the had sent the file back on 2nd of December.

For heaven sake can the CM put something in writing. CM office cannot be run through TV bytes. What stops him from issuing written orders. Let them defy written orders. If the other side is falsifying facts. Let us call their bluff.

Every single day we have a moaning CM complaining about his file being turned down. Yet nothing in the form of written communication.

If the Hon’ble Chief Minister had already sent the file after approval, there was absolutely no reason for any further queries. What was considered correct for the last many years remains correct today. The CM has categorically stated that the exams should have been postponed.

Instead of indulging in petty politics in this dual power centre, LOP Sunil Sharma should use his energy to exert pressure on Lok Bhawan.

Its simple and clear:
1.Relaxation must be granted.
2.Exams must be postponed.

This is the unanimous view of the elected government and every single person in the National Conference.

Anything beyond this from anyone else is a lie or mere whataboutery.
