@ethereum You can find the source of code on GitHub if you’re interested: https://t.co/aPvMU1IaBb
(@ethersproject is doing most of the hard work under the hood.)
New just-for-fun experiment: »Message in a Block« (https://t.co/r0Cpay4BzF)
It allows you to send permanent (and uncensorable) messages and files (such as proofs or love letters) on the @ethereum blockchain—instead of carving them into a park bench, tree, or toilet wall.
@jcubic The tip itself describes something that you’re doing in JavaScript. It’s not about TypeScript language features (like some typing trick or similar). TypeScript is just sprinkles on top to improve DX. You can still use this as-is without it—thus it’s a general JavaScript tip.
@jcubic The tip itself still is about doing something in JavaScript. It’s not about TypeScript/CoffeeScript-specific language features like the ones in https://t.co/uNhvHcSM0t or https://t.co/rJivCQ5Da0. I plan to improve code blocks anyways and may introduce a TS/JS toggle then, though.
@jcubic That is intended. TypeScript can be transpiled easily to JavaScript (either via »tsc« or manually by simply stripping any typing) so providing examples in TypeScript will serve both TypeScript and JavaScript users. It’s still JavaScript under the hood.
@kalebwyman These safe area insets are solving the »nodge« spacing issue but the bottom navigation bar overlapping (which the post is about) is still an issue even when using those variables. (Or do you have an example what exactly you’re referring to? Maybe I’m missing your point.)
