Ed Sheeran’s Legs May Not Work Like They Used To, but Apparently Neither Does His Backbone

Content creator Erin Tatum had a sharp welcome for Ed Sheeran this week, sarcastically flipping his own “Thinking Out Loud” lyrics to call out the singer for dropping Macklemore from his tour over Macklemore’s pro-Palestine advocacy. In a video skewering his lack of principle, Tatum metaphorically inducted Sheeran into the “disability community” for his sudden inability to stand by his collaborators, which she characterized as spinelessness, and closed with a pointed reminder of the actual issue at hand: “Free Palestine!”

Karen is a 6-month-old Palestinian baby girl currently in Egypt. She has been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1, a life-threatening genetic condition that requires immediate treatment.

Her doctors have recommended treatment with Evrysdi , Spinraza, or Zolgensma. Unfortunately, these treatments are not accessible to us, and the cost is far beyond what we can afford.

Karen’s condition is extremely urgent, and every day matters. The earlier she receives treatment, the greater the chance of preserving her strength and giving her the best possible opportunity for a better outcome. We are running out of time and desperately need help.

We are urgently seeking a transfer to a specialized hospital abroad so that Karen can receive the care she desperately needs as soon as possible.
