In her opinion piece for @BroadbandCensus, NextNav CEO Mariam Sorond explains why strengthening our nation’s #PNT infrastructure should be guided by technical evidence, engineering, and a fact-based process, not politics.

@KevinDennehy with @GPSWireless recently covered our announcement with Safran Electronics & Defense to integrate and demonstrate interoperability between NextNav’s terrestrial #5G #PNT network and Safran’s timing and navigation receiver.
"By pairing ground-based 5G signals with robust end-user hardware, NextNav and Safran aim to deliver a resilient 3D positioning complement that operates seamlessly indoors, within urban canyons, and across dense industrial environments where traditional satellite signals frequently degrade."

@piyush_trades Inflation is at play here, Delhi NCR is in context and say prices have mostly doubled/tripled pre covid levels but what has actually happened is money has devalued that much... so your 50 lac flat pre covid is 1.3Cr now but buying power of 1.3Cr is in fact equals to 50 lac now..
@PropertyDecoder under construction properties were suppose to be cheaper than the ready to move property.. not anymore, in greater noida west ready to move properties are at 8k-10k square feet but under construction properties are going beyond 10k-14k per sqft. everythiong is luxuxry there! hawa
Kedar and Aishwarya Ramakrishnan graduated from IIT Bombay in 2010. After graduating, they were associated with Harvard Business School, BCG, and Swiggy. Last year, I met them at our office. They left their successful careers to start Balisto Agritech, an electric farm machinery company that builds equipment for rural India. Their mission is to create impact where it matters most.
Both founders are remarkable people, full of optimism, vision, and positivity. We are proud to work with them as their energy partner, providing batteries for their equipment. These machines are helping improve the lives of men and women in some of the most rural parts of India.
#LaurusLabs announces its #Q1FY27#results with a strong all-round performance. Revenue grew 29% YoY to ₹2,026 Cr, EBITDA rose 66% YoY to ₹644 Cr (31.8% margin), while Net Profit increased 126% YoY to ₹368 Cr.

The management of a mobility engineering company, on their earnings call, said that the mentality of a few people in India is so low that they want you to fail somehow so that they can jump on their soapbox and claim brownie points with "I told you so."
The mocking and negativity that Laurus Labs faced during 2023 and 2024 were insane. They kept explaining the rationale behind the capital allocation, but people ignored that and purely focused on the reported low EBITDA, CDMO sales drop, and ROCE compression, among other low/negative attributes in the published numbers.
One of the costliest mistakes in investing is judging a business on things management can't actually control.
Exact revenue guidance. A directional outlook is fine.
Regulatory approvals? Who can predict those?
Customer decisions take their own time, and management cannot influence them through talk.
Clinical timelines. You seed a Phase 2 drug development programme today and wait for at least five years before a ~30% probability of success. Now model that in your DCF!
The timing of commercial launches. It takes a few years to scale up from day one of a commercial launch. Nothing works in a jiffy in deep-tech manufacturing. 99% of social media will never get it; everyone wants instant gratification. Bhaw Bhagwaan Che!
None of those are really in management's hands.
What can they control?
Capability. Manufacturing. Capital allocation. Culture.
Page 231 of Framing Business Uncertainty (pinned on my profile) came from a 2.5-hour discussion with Laurus Labs' Dr Satyanarayana Chava and CFO Ravi Kumar in November 2023.
I wasn't there to hear forecasts.
I wanted to understand how they thought, how they built capability, and how they allocated capital.
I wasn't trying to predict the next quarter.
I was trying to understand what the business could look like ten years from then.
That simple shift in thinking changed the way I invest. The ideas in the book aren't about one company or one industry. They're thinking tools for making better decisions whenever the future is uncertain.

@arvindraj4@harshitmul It was a marketing gimmick to find really interested people by zomato, they actually didn’t want any real money. Just to filter the initial applicants
In less than one week, the NextNav team will be presenting at #NENA2026, alongside other industry experts.
