🚨 VITÓRIA HISTÓRICA!

Acaba de ser aprovado, no plenário da Câmara dos Deputados, o Projeto de Lei 6.894/2013, que trata dos direitos previdenciários para os pós-graduandos. Depois de quase 40 anos de lutas, os bolsistas Capes e CNPq terão acesso à seguridade social.

É uma conquista da nossa mobilização incansável, dos apoios e das articulações que fizemos nesse período.

Nosso reconhecimento à garra das APGs de todos os cantos do país que confiaram e nunca esmoreceram. Igualmente às Sociedades científicas e comunidade acadêmica, que perfilaram conosco.

Agradecemos também à deputada @Alice_Portugal , proponente, aos deputados @ricardogalvaosp, relator, @tuliogadelha, que apresentou o requerimento de urgência, ao presidente @HugoMottaPB e aos líderes partidários que apoiaram a proposta.

Agradecemos também ao governo, especialmente à @CAPES_Oficial e @CNPq_Oficial, que não mediram esforços para construir soluções para essa justa reivindicação.

É uma vitória da ciência, dos pesquisadores e das pesquisadoras e, sobretudo, do Brasil. 🇧🇷

When making the single art for my song Delusional, I wanted to make the point that it's DELUSIONAL that the world expects artists to continue making art when we are so undervalued. I tried to echo my ideas in the form of a political single cover.  I’ve realized that living in alignment with my integrity is more important than proving a point.

so I've decided to change the cover art for this song. She's one of my favorites💕

Sometimes you’re doing the magic and sometimes the magic is doing you, it’s just one of those things…

Making this album with the greatest living producer, Rick Rubin was the highlight of my artistic career and also of my personal life. He listened to me, he cared about me, he believed in me and he respected me. It just took one good man. He was the second executive producer I had worked with. He made me feel safe enough to be honest with the emotions I was going through at the time. He held the space, so I could break. I cried and sang vocals amongst Neil young tapes in the infamous Chappel at shangri la.  I lived alone in Hawaii and became my friend and ally again. time stood still, and this was and still is the most surreal and life changing experience of my life. He always saw this album being called Eat the acid, but I just couldn’t see the light yet. Still in the midst of my pain, I could not see the forest through the trees.

God blessed me with an album that performed on the charts in a way that led me to my freedom.

I couldn’t see it when I was in it, and now I see it clearly. It all does happen for a reason. Trust the process. Relinquish control. Let go. Find God where you can. Believe in magic. Eat the acid.
