Mr Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, inaugurated the L’Oréal Beauty & Wellness Training Lab at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Kaushal Vikas Kendra, Kandivali, Mumbai.

Established in partnership with L’Oréal India, the Beauty Training Lab aims to train and facilitate employment and livelihood opportunities for 20,000 girls over the next five years, creating sustainable career pathways in the Beauty & Wellness sector.

This is also a significant step towards strengthening women-led livelihoods and industry-aligned skilling

An industry-led skilling and employment initiative, driven by CII, the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Kaushal Vikas Kendra brings together leading industry partners to provide sector-specific training, career counselling, internships and employment opportunities for youth.

The initiatives reaffirm the commitment of industry, government and development partners towards building a skilled, employable and future-ready workforce.

@MSSDSociety, in partnership with @FollowCII, conducted the #MaharashtraStateSkillsCompetition at #cluster and #state levels.

With more than 21,000 participants registered, the competition witnessed 300 #clusterlevel winners from Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, and Nashik, competing across 60 different trades during the #statelevel #IndiaSkills competition on March 19 and 20.

Now, the #champions from the state level are preparing for the #national IndiaSkills competition, with the goal of earning a position to represent India at the esteemed #WorldSkills 2024 event in Lyon, France, scheduled for September 2024.
