@zeonicscans@Elmo_Benzoids@TheStrangestgay I'm not trying to say they weren't a big part of the marketing - it's why I started reading it - just that it seems people grab at it easily without having read it and see that it's still mostly about human-human conflict. Ultimately I think we know too little about RC to judge
@dronestahl@SonicFront70231 And Dooku was the only one Obi-Wan couldn't beat, showing how he was incapable of dealing with Anakin's non-Jedi tendencies
@MagicalGirlOTD This is just like when people complain about Maiko's Social Link in Persona 3, when she asks the protagonist to marry her and your only options are "yes" and "maybe". Have they never interacted with a child before?? You're clearly just humoring her.
@ScoutSzewc@its_hipolita@inkblotPrincess I don't necessarily disagree - the last half of DS1 is definitely a stark difference. I guess I just give it points for trying. I also think purely wanting a "bigger" world isn't a strict upgrade. I wish they would attempt true interconnectedness
@TheChocoboRacer@Mag_Zi@DomainDead Trust. It's different for sure, but not bad by any means. There are still things I think DS1 does better, but its a great game
@TheRedGoner I have noticed I have a much harder time figuring out what to do or where to go when I play The New Triple A Game compared to just about any other game
@its_hipolita@inkblotPrincess It's why I honestly really disliked Elden Ring. DS1 is my favorite for the level design and ER feels like a complete refutation of that design philosophy
