"Dearest Amma,
This is your Suchitra. I am safe here. I hope you, nanna, chelli and annayya are safe. I am sending only 8000 this month. I will try to send 10 or 15,000 next month. Vasantakka helps me a lot here. She is the one I borrow from sometimes when I’m in need. Have you paid chelli’s fee? Has nanna’s health stabilised? Did annayya stop drinking? Arrange some work for annayya to be engaged in. With the help of Vasantakka and Bujjakka, I will try my best to get out of here. If everything goes as planned, I will be home as early as next month, Amma! I will stay in our village and provide for you all by hook or by crook. Convey my regards to everyone. Take care of your health. Eat on time."

I'm unable to access MY OWN bank account's pdf statement because of some stupid mistake from @HDFC_Bank and I've spoken to @HDFCBank_Cares several times with no resolution and I'm constantly asked to visit the home branch. What kind of stupid customer care is this?
@ScpcrTelangana Children are already such a vulnerable group who cannot advocate for themselves and are routinely subjected to violence. If this is the attitude of helpline responders, then how will it encourage more people to come forward and report these crimes????
Just called 1098 to complain about a neighbour beating their 6 year old child and the person who answered the helpline said they cannot register a complaint if they don't know the reason why the parent hit the child cuz if the child had done something wrong then beating is fine.
@ScpcrTelangana Almost forgot - he initially refused to take the complaint and said I needed to approach 100 instead. I asked why is there a child helpline if I need to report to police? He kept insisting that I complain on 100. Only when I kept asking questions and spoke sternly he agreed.
On Babasaheb Jayanti, @IndianExpress put multiple op-eds on his legacy-- very next day here is Yogendra Yadav telling us "this carries serious danger"
He helpfully tells us 'iconisation' of Baba is perilous & gives an unsolicited lit review of books that tried to 'recover' his legacy but fell short.
Babasaheb's legacy has endured decades of erasure & yet peaked to the point where even english-savarna media has to give him space-- thanks entirely to tenacity of grassroots Ambedkarite movement of millions of oppressed caste folks.
Maybe Yadav ji should consider that they dont need these "helpful" patronising lessons in legacy management.
