My intervention in Parliament Thursday under Zero Hour, calling for a significant revision in the fellowship stipends given to non-NET doctoral fellows, to support their research. It’s merely the result of unnecessary development. 1. Punekar always prefer own vehicles & extra convenience. 2. Connectivity is 2nd major concern. Currently, metro lines are not connected to any IT park neither to main marketplaces.

🚇 Pune Metro has recorded a decline in footfall in November 😢

Vanaz to Ruby Hall Clinic & PCMC to Civil Court routes recorded this decline. These metro routes had a ridership of 37 lakhs in October and now it stands at just 14 lakhs in November.

Chennai Metro's ridership stands at 80 lakhs in November! However the population of Chennai is 1.2 cr and that of Pune is said to be 70 lacs.

Punekars, what do you think is the real problem? Lack of parking space, last mile connectivity and feeder service? Or any other? 🤔
