Reason, why hospital stocks are down today.
The Supreme Courtย Yesterday criticized the commercialization of private healthcare
observing that corporate hospitals operate as profit-driven industries rather than service providers
The hearing comes as a continuation of proceedings from last week, where the top court had flagged a ten-fold price difference in a cancer drug
where the Price to Retailer (PTR) was โน2,700 but the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) was โน27,000. At the time, the Court had termed the un-capped markup an "absolute rampage and carnage" and "broad daylight dacoity.

One warning. One instant decision. 1,643 children saved.
As floodwaters raced towards his school, Headmaster Rajendra Dawadi rang the bell, turned the buses back and led the children to higher ground.
In those few decisive minutes, he created an extraordinary legacy: the gift of life to 1,643 children, and the gift of their future to Nepal.
What greater legacy could a teacher leave?

โIn 1989, I invested Rs 1.25 crore in Sesa Goa shares at price of Rs. 26.โ
โMy friend Radhakishan Damani and Kamal Kabra were so bearish on Sesa Goa that they used to laugh at me for buying it.โ
โIn next 3 months the price flew to Rs. 60. I sold bulk of my shares and the last lot I sold in 1992 at price of Rs 2,200. This made my net worth Rs 4 Crores.โ
