Got fuel from Shell Mbarara. Pay time; ABSA card, momo & mobile money couldn’t help me pay. The pump attendant & I looked at each momentarily until another pump attendant solved the puzzle. “Afande, we know you well. Just go, when MTN service is restored, pay using MoMo”. Kyokujwaragye, okoreragye abantu.
President Yoweri Museveni has strengthened Uganda's road infrastructure, improving trade, tourism, and access to essential services across the country. #WhyUgDecidedM7
A special salute to the UPDF team deployed by the CDF, Gen. @mkainerugaba, which greatly supported the successful coordination of the voluntary repatriation of Ugandan nationals from 🇿🇦
We also appreciate Col. @ChrisOMagezi, who was on the ground at Entebbe International Airport to receive the first batch of returning Ugandans alongside other Government officials.
A second batch of Ugandans will arrive at Entebbe this evening as @GovUganda continues the voluntary repatriation exercise for citizens returning from South Africa.
The exercise is progressing, with additional repatriation arrangements continuing within the course of the week in coordination with all relevant authorities.
