Sir Barman has been consciously erased from the mainstream Bengali politics and culture that is long captured by upper caste bengalis.

Upendranath Babu was a towering politician from Early Bengal,represented North Bengal and a vocal advocate for the empowerment of depressed classes(SC/ST/OBCs).He was the Chairman of Historical Parliamentary Drafting committee of Untouchability offence Bill that became law in 1955.

The mainstream bengali icons often pronounced with great glory and pride in contemporary Bengal never finds the mention of Sir Barman due to his Dalit identity.

कितीही फुले, शाहू, आंबेडकर यांचे नाव घेतले किंवा तशी छाती ठोकली तरी आजतागायत पवार कुटुंबाचे राजकरण हे सत्ताकेंद्रित, कुटुंबकेंद्रित राहिलेलं आहे. त्यासाठी विचारधारा सोडावी लागली तरी चालेल, पण सत्ता, सत्ताकेंद्र सुटायला नको. म्हणून सरकार कुठले ही असो ते सगळीकडे सेट असतात.

राजकीय मंचावर, सार्वजनिक जीवनात ज्यांना शिव्या घातल्या ते सर्व भाजप, आरएसएस, अ*दानी, अं*बानी, मोहन भागवत सगळेच लोकं तिथे झाडून उपस्थित होते. शरद पवार आणि लखानी कुटुंबियांचे या सर्वांशी सौहार्दाचे, व्यवसायिक संबंध आहेत.

वंचित बहुजन आघाडी आणि बाळासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी अनेकदा हे सांगितले आहे की, शरद पवार हे भाजपचे हस्तक आहेत. शरद पवार यांनी आपले लोकं, कुटुंब आधीच भाजपात पाठवून ठेवले आहेत.

महाराष्ट्रातील अनेकांनी शरद पवारांच्या मागे धावून आपले आयुष्य उद्ध्वस्त केलं आणि तिकडे व्यवस्थित शरद पवार, कुटुंबीयांनी हे लग्न करून स्वतःच्या सात पिढ्या सेफ केल्या.

My senior colleague Dr Shashi Tharoor's admiration for PM Modi appears to have transcended the limitations of the physical world. He now seems capable of hearing what Modi doesn't even say.

According to the official MEA readout of the Modi–Trump meeting on the sidelines of the G7:

1. There is no mention of the cold-blooded killing of three Indian sailors by the United States in the Gulf of Oman.

2. This was the first Modi-Trump meeting after Operation Sindoor, yet there is no indication that Modi challenged Trump's repeated claim - now made over 120 times - that he secured a ceasefire by threatening India with trade consequences.

3. There is no mention of the attack on Iranian frigate IRIS Dena, India's guest during MILAN-2026, in what is effectively India's strategic backyard.

And yet, Tharoor ji somehow heard forceful assertions, robust pushback, and uncompromising diplomacy that never made it into the official record.

Perhaps the rest of us are constrained by ordinary human senses. For devotees of the 'Maha-Maanav Modi', the less he says, the more they hear.

इन 104 में से 84 लोग वो निकले जो अमीर परिवारों से हैं,
