These heritage structures speak volumes about our rich history and people.

Holeyageri does not mean filth

I never expected these words from a prominent Kannada actor like Upendra. He referred to Holeyagiri to mean filth.

It is the same Holeyas and Madigas who promoted Upendra by going to his movies on the first day. They admire him as their hero.

Holeyageri and Madigageri is a symbol of ghettoization and caste segregation.

Some of the best brains running this country, including the president of the Indian National Congress is a Holeya.

Holeyageri and Madigageri is a place where lower caste Holeyas and Madigas used to stay in Karnataka. They were never allowed inside the village and their sight itself was supposed to pollute, and even today are subjected to heinous untouchability practices by the upper castes.

The upper castes consider them polluted, dirty and not even worthy of entering their houses.

A prominent actor using Holeyageri as a connotation for filth is objectionable and is an offence under the sc/st act wherein the dignity of the entire community is affected by the statement of the actor.

All SC/ST should stop watching his movies from now on. At least 40% less revenue would affect him financially.

This accident was caused due to hydroplaning.
Hydroplaning happens when a film of water builds up between your tires and the road causing the vehicle to skid.

Slow down on wet roads, & keep the grip.
