Captain Smit Machchhar is a HERO.
In the face of the gravest danger and despite being seriously injured, he showed immense courage and an unwavering resolve to protect the lives of others.
His valour helped save hundreds of lives and avert a great tragedy.
India is proud of Captain Machchhar.
Praying for his speedy recovery, renewed strength and good health.
Hopefully some of you educated & well meaning folks, especially from AP, learnt some hard lessons abt the nature of politics and career policians. No, you shouldn't give up on politics. If you cede space, lumpen elements will take it. First step is to stop idolizing politicians.
The most expensive part of a hospital bill may never touch the hospital at all.
A patient admitted for care has no way of knowing whether the price on a medical consumable reflects its actual cost or a markup fixed long before it ever reached the ward. That gap in information is, at its core, a public health issue.
A survey of hospital consumables in Maharashtra found an IV infusion set with a trade price of ₹11.05 carrying a printed MRP of ₹325 ; a markup of 2,841%. A syringe procured at ₹6.75 carried an MRP of ₹57.20. A catheter procured at ₹29.41 carried an MRP of ₹310.
These are not elective purchases. Patients cannot compare prices, seek alternatives, or question a number printed on a box while receiving care and the MRP itself is often fixed upstream by manufacturers and distributors, disconnected from the trade price by a wide, unexplained margin. The result is a system where the party bearing the cost has the least information to evaluate it.
The regulatory gap is structural: scheduled medicines are capped under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013. Most medical devices and consumables are not leaving both the pricing and the information around it almost entirely unmonitored.
A review of these findings and clear guidelines on the permissible gap between trade procurement price and declared MRP have been recommended to the Department of Pharmaceuticals and the NPPA ; a step toward closing not just a pricing gap, but the information gap patients are left to bear alone.

A tough, loyal cricketer, a person of great character and fairness and an extraordinary team player moves on in life. Ajinkya Rahane will be remembered for many things but more than for anything else, his outstanding leadership that produced India's greatest away series win in Australia in 2021. Indian cricket must continue to use Rahane because he has the right qualities. Well played Rahane, always enjoyed the way you played and what you brought to the game.
We have enough laws, courts , fast track , special courts , what not - మనకి లేనిది డబ్బు అధికారం కి లొంగకుండా శిక్షలు సకాలం లో పడటం .

ORBIT ACHIEVED. 🚀
Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.
History is made. 🇮🇳

Dear Sonam Wangchuk ji @Wangchuk66
We live in a country where the affluent kids kill people in road accidents, write an essay and get out of the jail.
We live in a country where common citizens, and sometimes ambulances (depending on whether there are elections or not) are stopped for hours to let VIP convoy pass.
We live in a country where the families of soldiers that lay lives for the nation have to beg for years to get due compensation/pension.
We live in a country where the poor are forced to dig up the bones of a dear ones to prove that they're dead.
We live in a country where infrastructure collapse is a daily affair while the criticism of the same is risky.
After being unlawfully jailed for about 170 days, you should have understood whom you're fighting against.
While I respect and commend your spirit and zeal to do something for the country's future, this sir, I'm afraid isn't looking like a fruitful endeavor. And while I'm touched that you care enough for the millions of students, I request you to you end your fast.
I speak for a lot many of us when I say this:
We deserve neither the corrupt politicians, nor your sacrifice.
Jai Hind.
@drmahishmak@Bharath_B2 When most of the people, who follow politics, are saying there is a significant Lokesh mark in the policies and party decisions
వీళ్లేమో ఇలా 😂
Some legal facts:
-There is no question of honey trap when it comes to a minor victim. Any sexual intimacy with a minor amounts to rape. The question of consent does not apply to a child.
-Significant number of consensual teenage elope case are booked under POCSO as the parents of the girls have filed cases of kidnap and rape.
-Preliminary investigation always precedes such cases
-Sec. 74 of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 explicitly directs the identity of the child(anybody below 18) to remain confidential. The identity includes name, address, school, photo etc. Violation carries penalty of 6 months.
Covid was THE dark phase in our lives .
And the WORST part : దాన్ని నుండి నేర్చుకున్న పాఠాలు కూడా ఏమి లేదు .. public Health care & health education ఇంకా ఇంకా దిగజారుతోంది irrespective of (parties)govt.
Couple of days ago, Dusharla Satyanarayana was beaten up and left to bleed in his farm.
Who is Dusharla Satyanarayana?
A 72 year old man who inherited 70 acres of ancestral land in Raghavapuram, Suryapet, Telangana.
He didn’t sell it or make it a real estate venture, instead he resigned to his plush bank job and took up a full time work to repair the environment.
He planted FIVE CRORE trees in the land, all by himself.
He also dug 13 ponds and small lakes in this forest. He developed rainwater harvesting system in his forest.
He doesn’t sell the agri-products, he says every fruit / flower / leaf that grows in this forest belongs to the animals, birds and the forest itself.
At least 32 varieties of birds made this forest their home, along with numerous animals.
When Nalgonda district was suffering because of Fluorosis, he started an NGO Jala Sadhana Samithi and worked intensively to educate people about the problems. He made government to listen to the water crisis and brought in policy changes.
Dusharla Satyanarayana doesn’t even pluck a fruit for himself from the forest. And he decided not to give his land to his son also!
People offered him hundreds of crores for the land and he flatly refused. He family and neighbours fought with him but he never gave up caring for nature and his forest.
Three days ago, a few men thrashed him because he stopped them from cutting trees in his forest. He told them not to destroy the nature. These men are neighbouring villagers who want to graze their cattle and cut the trees for their needs.
Dusharla Satyanarayana is now getting treated at a government hospital in Hyderabad.
Wishing him a very speedy recovery.
Wish people understand what this man is doing for this world & protect him, if not worship him.
