We’re building Copilot as a new OS for work that spans every model, every form factor, and every task. Today, we’re announcing our biggest update to Copilot to date, bringing four things together:
· Autopilot: proactive and long-running agent built for the enterprise
· Code: build apps with Copilot, hosted inside your company’s tenant
· Home: Chat + Cowork together
· Office: now fully embedded in Copilot (and Copilot embedded in Office, of course!)
Plus, you can invoke Copilot in Teams, and we’re introducing Today, a proactive experience that surfaces the most important information from across M365 without needing to ask for it.
The way we work is changing and so are our workflows. This update brings AI into that flow, from answering a question, to building an app, to getting work done on your behalf.
Everything you want is on the other side of not giving a fuck, asking again, and taking another shot. Life gives you endless lottery tickets to try and you only need one win to change your life forever .
Biologists use specialized open-source models for tasks like modeling the structure of molecular systems, designing drug-like molecules, and predicting the effects of genetic mutations. But these models are often expensive to run, potentially limiting their impact.
In our latest Science Blog, we share how Claude was able to optimize inference for more than 30 open-source models, making them 4x faster on average, partly by writing custom software for GPUs. We’re open sourcing all of the optimization code.

You can now discover tools, agents and expert partners on Claude Marketplace. Use it to:
- Add connectors and plugins like Slack and Notion
- Buy agents and products from companies like Cursor and CrowdStrike
- Scale with service partners like Accenture and Deloitte
Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family.
It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.
10 Jev native products I’d build, ranked by how much fast, cheap decisions change the product:
1. Agent spend firewall
Before every purchase, Jev returns approve/review/deny plus a confidence score based on price, vendor, user rules and purchase history.
2. Self-healing tool calls
After an API error, Jev chooses retry, wait, change parameters, switch providers or escalate.
So now you have agents that recover from failure in milliseconds instead of restarting the entire workflow.
3. Irreversible action detector
Jev scores every step by reversibility before the agent sends an email, deletes a file, moves money or changes permissions.
You get aggressive automation for safe actions and human approval for consequential ones.
4. Dynamic permission engine
Instead of giving an agent permanent access, Jev decides which tool, data and spending limit it receives for each task.
So now all of a sudden, you get temporary, task-level permissions for enterprise agents.
5. Agent branch pruning
An agent generates 20 possible next steps. Jev scores them in parallel and kills weak branches before expensive reasoning begins.
Deeper agent planning at a fraction of the cost!
6. Production incident controller
Jev reads logs, deploy history, affected customers and service health, then chooses ignore, rollback, restart, page or investigate.
Someone like pager duty should build this because it's automated incident response that reacts before an engineer opens Slack.
7. Live negotiation policy
During a sales, procurement or collections conversation, Jev decides whether to discount, counter, hold firm, offer terms or escalate.
Reminds me of Clulely.
8. Autonomous refund desk
Jev evaluates order history, customer value, fraud signals, item cost and policy, then returns approve, reject or review.
Finally, instant refunds for good customers and focused review for risky cases.
Note: I'll be adding more Jev related ideas to https://t.co/QxoITW16zr and our agency https://t.co/YQJFV1Xlkt builds the biggest agentic products
9. Realtime marketplace dispatch
For every request, Jev chooses the provider using location, price, quality, availability, cancellation risk and customer preferences.
Big problem is that marketplaces need to rematch supply continuously as conditions change.
10. Confidence based human queues
Jev scores every agent decision and sends only uncertain, expensive or irreversible cases to a person.
One person can now supervise thousands of autonomous workflows.
LLMs generate possibilities. Jev chooses what happens next. The next generation of software will need both.
Opening access for developers to build Muse connectors. You bring the API -- Muse brings the agent, the browser, and the context of what the person actually wants. People reach your service just by asking for it, and their agent takes it from there.
New connectors are live today. Come build with us. https://t.co/o6oTf1Sj9y
Jev is HERE and this is the CLEAREST explanation of what it is and what NEW businesses it unlocks.
(and at the end I'll tell you how to get Jev even if you're on the waitlist)
WHAT IT IS
You know how you open your inbox and have to decide what's junk, what needs a reply, and what can wait? Jev does that part. It looks at each thing and says "this is junk, I'm 94% sure."
It doesn't write anything back to you. It just sorts.
1,700 emails for 18 cents, instantly.
That sounds kinda trivial but the important part
WHAT IT UNLOCKS
My explanation of Jev sounds small until you realize HOW MANY jobs are exactly this. Someone reading a stack of applications. Someone deciding which support ticket goes to which team. Someone looking at inbound and deciding who's worth calling back.
A few ideas on what it unlocks:
1/ Instant quotes that are actually instant. Every quote form on the internet says "we'll email you by end of day." Build the version that answers in under a second, for roofers, movers, insurance, legal intake.
2/ Lead scoring as a product. Every agency and service business has a contact form full of junk. Score every submission and send the real ones straight to the owner's phone.
3/ Support triage for companies with no support team. The ticket gets classified and routed before anyone opens it.
4/ Clipping tools. Pass in a transcript, get the best moments scored in three seconds. Every clipping product just got a cheaper engine.
5/ Application piles. Grants, permits, insurance claims, job apps, loan docs. Someone reads that stack one item at a time today.
6/ Marketplace matching. Someone types what they need and gets matched to the right local business instantly instead of waiting for callbacks.
7/ Browser agents that actually move FAST. That makes bulk browser work practical: pulling quotes from five carriers, filing the same form for 200 clients, checking supplier inventory in real time etc.
TLDR; find an expensive queue and put Jev at the front of it.
HOW TO GET IT
I didn't realize you can skip the waitlist because Jev is live on the Vercel AI Gateway right now, so you can start calling it today. In this episode, we share how.
Episode now live on @startupideaspod (thanks to @ryanvogel for coming on and spilling the sauce today)

Jev is a big deal because this is a whole new way to do AI
Really cool
Happy Jev day.
We’re introducing Gemini 3.8 Live and 3.8 Live Extended Thinking – our best conversational AI.
