@nntaleb Celadet Bedirhan a student in 1910, recalled a meeting he attended in which the Crimean Tatar intellectual Ismail Gasprinski gave a seminar on Turkism.
Celadet noted sarcastically:
“Only with difficulty could be understood by Istanbul Turks’. (1)
@nntaleb a single language, a single law and a single method of application and implementation is a dead-end’.
He concluded by citing Switzerland as an example of a country where different confessional groups left their own devices could live in harmony. (2)
