This is Eagles OL Tyler Steen at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
His grandfather, Sgt. Rodney M. Davis, jumped on a grenade in Vietnam to save five fellow Marines.
Davis was awarded the Medal of Honor.
This Memorial Day, his story deserves to be told. 🇺🇸
Ricky Gervais on 60 Minutes Makes a Crystal-Clear Case for Free Speech
He put it perfectly: the great thing about freedom of speech is that I can say what I want, and you can say you're offended, and I get to decide whether I care or not.
Because let's be honest, there's nothing you can say that someone, somewhere won't find offensive.
That's why blasphemy laws are so absurd, they're basically trying to protect an all-powerful deity from having its feelings hurt.
At the end of the day, we should be free to criticise any idea.
Just because you're offended doesn't automatically mean you're right.
Spot on, Ricky. Free speech isn't about never upsetting anyone, it's about the right to speak anyway.

In July 1991 WCW fired Ric Flair two weeks before The Great American Bash while he was still the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.
WCW executive Jim Herd refused to return Flair’s $25,000 deposit that every NWA champion was required to put up as a guarantee they would not leave with the belt. Flair called Vince McMahon and told him he was coming to the WWF and bringing the belt with him.
WCW was so unprepared for the fallout that at The Great American Bash they had to use a spare belt owned by Dusty Rhodes with a gold plate taped over it. The Baltimore Arena crowd chanted “We Want Flair” throughout the entire night.
Two months later Bobby Heenan walked onto WWF television cradling the real NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

Hypothetical: You’re the owner of an MLB team. I offer to take $0 salary and sign a minor league contract and go to Low A.
If the “he sucks now” crowd is right and I get lit up, you cut me, lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club.
If the “clubhouse cancer” crowd is right, you see it immediately at Low A and cut me. You lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club.
If there’s massive negative PR, which we already know there won’t be, you just cut me and move on. The story is dead in a couple days, you lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club.
But, assuming none of those things happen, which they obviously wouldn’t, if you like what you see, you can promote me to AA and re evaluate me there. Then AAA. Then the big leagues. If I earn it, which you’d be 100% in control of deciding. If you don’t think I’m good enough, you lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club.
You could take away my “antics”. You could take away my social media. You could ask anything of me. If I don’t comply, you cut me, lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club.
What logical reason is there to not do this? At worst, you cut me and there’s no risk to the big league club. At best, you get a Cy Young winner for $0 who you know can still pitch and could help the big league team if and when you see fit.
