Most of the men writing these bills don’t know the first thing about a woman’s body outside of the things they want from it. It’s relatively common for a woman to have a late period + not be pregnant.

So this is a backdoor ban.

I haven’t really seen this talked about much... but New York's BAN ON PLASTIC BAGS will take effect March 1, 2020. 23 billion plastic bags are used across the state annually. NYC ALONE uses more than 10 billion single-use plastic bags a year. THIS IS SUCH A HUGE STEP!
