BBC Radio 4: A big thank you to last week’s T4TD contributors and the Advent Sunday morning services focusing on the 4 nations authors and poets. Outstanding music and reflections.
@MichaelSadgrove Thank you Michael.
Andrew was down to do a reading - Psalm 139 - at his mother Margaret’s funeral service in St. Oswald’s, 21st February this year, but alas, didn’t show up.
He had received his diagnosis a couple of days earlier.
All so very sad.
@MichaelSadgrove Old Revs? Jesus speaks to Peter of old age on a beach. Your old rev ministry of wisdom, prayer and encouragement, often in frailty, matters, your witness and faithfulness endures, you never retire from love. We are still in ‘old age’ led, loved and carried by Christ.
@MichaelSadgrove Delighted to hear you are now home, rest well. Remembering you in prayer, the parish communities of Haydon Bridge, Corbridge and Hexham. CK:RIP
