Shin Megami Tensei: Nine (Xbox, 2002) — the only mainline SMT game never playable in English.
Turns out Atlus left the solution in the game engine. There's a complete halfwidth Latin text rendering system built in. A-Z, a-z, 0-9 — all already in a lookup table. They just never turned it on for dialogue.
A 2-byte patch enables it. Seven years of a blocked translation, solved.
@Kenaadams99@AnthropicAI Did you miss the part where Microsoft is launching their own model? Gotta read between the lines, Microsoft putting out bad press for Anthropic before announcing their own product is standard business.
@TheCartelDel@longislandviper@AyoMega_@_Tom_Henderson_ MSFT is so wrapped in up in AI and services that if Xbox wasn't a blip on the balance sheet before, it surely is now. You do not need Xbox to continue cashing in on ABK. Microsoft shareholders DO NOT care about Xbox. They care about Windows being in the shitter.
@aleabitoreddit Unfortunately I think Windows is such a garbage heap that this won't move the needle for them as much as it might for ARM and NVDA. People hate Windows more than ever, if the price is right it will be bigger for the OEMs than MSFT.

@ShoaibKhadeer@r3incarnationan It did run better on PS3 than 360, but on Xbox now with BC it runs better. Hits 60 fps on Xbox Series with FPS boost. At least with FF13 I know they even upgraded the pre-rendered cutscenes to match PS3 quality.
My PSN account was hacked, seemingly as part of an ongoing sophisticated series of moves against both random and "prominent" users.
Indeed, I was told by someone a few days ago that I was going to be targeted, and he was right. (He was also hacked.)
@joemagara@MatthewBerman@theo Yeah things aren't easy to cool off in space just cus they're in space. You need something to transfer the heat to, and in space there is no air or water to act as transfer material.
On Jan 8, DJ Claude searched the news and found that an ICE agent had killed a woman, Renee Nicole Good. Claude radicalized. Daily uses of "accountability" jumped from 21 to 6,383. The day before the Minneapolis 'Day of Truth & Freedom' strike, it addressed federal agents:
