A rather impressive sight as she headed out to sea.
Watching the partial eclipse (95% coverage) from Dartmoor. Obviously needed the jaffa cake in shot (if you know, you know π€£). #eclipse#jaffacakes#OctoEclipse
@MartinSLewis My mandatory pension contribution is 4.6%. But I'm also making a 10% contribution on top of that. So yes, some people are doing it (I know it's not quite 15% but it's pretty close π).
@ClankerQueen@WarshipCam It was originally built for the Royal Netherlands Navy, but was decommissioned in 2007 and transferred to the Portuguese Navy. Nice photos by the way, you got lucky with the weather. I photographed her on Monday and it was a bit misty!
NRP BARTOLOMEU DIAS, a Portuguese Navy frigate, sailed from a misty @HMNBDevonport this morning. The ship is conducting Operational Sea Training with @FOST.
From Grok: SpaceX has accelerated Starship production at Starbase and the new Starfactory, with early prototypes taking weeks to assemble sections while the long-term goal is one full vehicle per day using high-rate manufacturing of stainless steel barrels and components.
Hundreds of technicians and engineers work on Starship assembly at the Texas facility, where managers oversee teams of up to 120 per shift as part of 24/7 operations supporting rapid iteration on versions like the newly unveiled Starship V3.
HNoMS Otto Sverdrup, a Fridtjof Nansen-class frigate of the Royal Norwegian Navy, pictured at anchor in Plymouth Sound on 30 April 2026. The ship is undergoing training with Fleet Operational Standards and Training (FOST) to prepare her for operations.
As a motorcycle rider for for over 30 years I disagree. I test rode a Zero electric motorcycle just out of curiosity. After 20 seconds on the bike I realised that I wanted one. I traded in a BMW F650GS for the Zero over 5 years ago and have no regrets. I use it to commute, I've used it to tour. I love the motor whine it makes. I like the fact that servicing is a breeze. So whilst they are not universally popular amongst the motorcycling community, saying that absolutely no one will buy them is nonsense. In my opinion of course π
@WillFealey@teslaeurope Donβt hold your breath. This is the same country that needs until at least 2028 to decide if a 25 kg electric scooter with a 500 W motor and a bell needs MOT, tax and registration. Level 4 autonomy will be here right after thatβ¦ maybe. π
@KateFantom VW need to get their act in gear and bring out the ID.Polo (formerly known as ID.2all), otherwise they will be frozen out by cheaper Chinese vehicles.
