@QwarkHS This year finally broke me. The love and polish left the game, the competence left the team (bar a few people who can't carry the whole expansion design cycle on their own, sadly)
@FenoHS Brooo!! Great job ๐ and awesome to see you visit my hometown!
Two local recs: Roberto Gelato ice cream is absolutely amazing and Ombretta has the best Italian sandwiches in Utrecht!
SOMEONE BUILT CHESS BUT TURNED IT INTO A ROGUELIKE PANIC ATTACK IN YOUR BROWSER.
it's called Prince Chazz.
you open the tab and there is just a chessboard.
no signup.
no download.
no tutorial cinematic.
you move like a queen.
every enemy is either a rook, a knight, or a bishop. and every one of them is hunting you.
every capture gives you a point, but also summons two more enemies onto the board.
so the move that saves you now is usually the move that kills you 10 seconds later.
bishops slice diagonals.
rooks lock down lanes.
knights appear exactly where your brain forgot they could.
every day, every player gets the same starting board. there is a per-seed leaderboard. so when you lose, you can't even blame luck.
some stranger already survived the exact same board better than you.
i opened it for 30 seconds and came back 20 minutes later angry at a bishop.
the internet is healing.
"Hunter has been appearing more often than its power level alone would suggest, pointing to a particularly compelling play pattern."
Yeah no shit. When you give one class powerful new toys and none of the others get powerful new toys, you will feel "compelled" to play that class
@J_Alexander_HS Correct. In a sea of slop, the few "new" cards that actually do have an impact are the ones that are frequently played, so they cause statistically more grievances...
The cleanest way to solve this problem is by creating interesting and playable cards (I miss the old team 5).
@HS_Copa I like Elise bc sheโs free in the deck, and the alternative 4 drop (xavius) isnโt looking too hot in stats.
I often pick the 5 mana option and aim for savage roar, gain armor or discover spell (depending on mu). Minion copy does work well with colossals!
Cataclysm is amazing so far! I was encouraged to try out Fire Breath in harold shaman, and after some small adjustments I'm confident that this list is kind of insane. Enjoy!

@machadogps I was thinking about a way to incorporate the evolve effect into a colossal, while also being interesting and doing something new.
While digging into Windlord lore I found out about Thunderaan and things fell into place!
I slightly modified my submission, so I resubmitted it :)
16-1 with the Arkwing list from @rayquinox to top 200!
Mulligan advice:
I always keep Smoldering Grove, Mechanic, Artificer, and have been experimenting with keeping a Pilot (seems good so far!) I don't really keep Xavius.
Update on my climb this month: It's still early but the list feels popping, almost top 50 EU now!
List is still the same as my last tweet. Enjoy it while it lasts, it will be gone when the rotation hits.
It's always fun to play against familiar Hearthstone names, even if I get nervous when I know I'm on stream.
I wanted to share this game against @FenoHS, I had a really good laugh after watching him go off on my t1 play. Artificer always ends it!

I'm having a lot of fun with Arkwing mage right now!
We play the rogue tourist just for the coins. I ended up cutting watercolor artist, the only frost spell we want to run is chalice.
The deck is exciting to play, it's a miracle deck with really fast games!
