Actually that is starting to change with the data center issue. A number of local officials have been thrown out in primaries on account of that issue. There are also local recall elections. This issue itself is part of the turning point, but con inc. is either silent or on the wrong side in order to service the boss. Then they turn around and demand to know where the people are.
