@DrAllyLouks Hey Dr. Ally, I’ve seen all your amazing commentary on scent and I had an incident baking cookies today and thought to ask you - an incredibly smart stranger - instead of googling it. Why does burnt food give humans such a strong reaction? Is it a survival trait?
@chaoticgirl777 I’ve been there;
- Being around someone or even a pet, you don’t have to talk but exist in the same space
- Avoid doomscrolling, looking at interesting things on Pinterest is acceptable though
- Ice on your wrists for really bad days, helps ground
- Mints or gum for bad breathe
@Abigailnot_abby@oldenoughtosay Did you happen to find out what was wrong? Something extremely similar happened to me and it turns out I have a rare autoimmune disease!
This NEEDS to be SHARED everywhere.
People don't realise Daniel Radcliffe is actually doing something extraordinarily powerful in this video by refusing to engage with transphobes on their terms & using his platform to centre trans kids' stories & educate people directly
@Trevor_wagner_@TikTokSupport I recently lost my mother figure and a quote that has helped when there’s nothing anyone can say to help, “I am acting as an ambassador and on behalf of everything that must hurt so much right now, I say sorry."
Because sometimes things are so bad, someone just has to say it.
This is Noodle. He has been a constant source of joy for millions, by sharing his prediction for the day in the form of “bones, or no bones?” Yesterday, Noodle passed away peacefully at the age of 14. He was so loved by so many. It will now and forever be… a bones day. 15/10
i am once again asking why the fuck we take taxes from 15-17 year olds paychecks when they aren’t allowed to vote bc to me that sounds a little bit like taxation without representation
