John Terry says ELEVEN members of England's World Cup squad are not good enough to win the tournament - and Thomas Tuchel has got 'three or four big decisions wrong' about his 'best players' https://t.co/7JNR9fFB3j
@Alan_Alger_@LeGrove He’ll never concede on anything, never known someone spout opposite opinions as often as him and claim he always knew it was the case. His form goes back a very long way.
Would add to this, when elite teams play badly there *is* usually a reason and being curious about what that might be is not ‘cope’ or excuse making. It’s all just part of the game and it takes nothing from the victors, who’ve no reason to worry about why the losing team might have been crap, not their concern at all 🙂
🗣️| Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann on Kai Havertz: “Anyone who looked closely at the UCL final could see what Kai means to his team. He stands out not only because of his goal, but also because of his hard work, his brutal heading ability, even on defensive set pieces.” [@SPORT1]
One of the funniest parts about Arsenal's successful season is you have people who were wrong the entire way still acting like they know something or should be listened to. Attention is a drug, rather - sit down, stop talking and learn a thing or two.

Individually there isnt one call that is a “travesty” particularly. But the aggregate effect of these calls is that the opportunities we could’ve had to build some attacking momentum were all nullified and we just continued to be put under pressure as a result
Last night PSG fans rioted during and after the Champions League final.
57 police officers were injured.
Cars and shops set alight.
One mob even tried to storm a police station.
Police arrested 780.
22,000 police were deployed.
Presumably, if they are drawn to play an English club in next year’s Champions League, all the people who claimed they wanted Maccabi Tel Aviv banned on grounds of public safety (and not because they were in fact a bunch of anti-Jewish racist obsessives), will be demanding the French fans are banned too?
The Tottenham players posting on social media because their rivals lost a champions league final (after winning the league) is the exact kind of mentality I want nowhere near my club in a million years. Have some shame.
If this is my life now where my team and fans get bantered for losing Champions League finals after securing a league title by 7 points then so be it. It’s a life worth living.
I'm sorry but this has been the most incredible enjoyable season of football I have ever experienced, I've seen these players die on the pitch for this club 63 times this season, I feel nothing but gratitude and pride. Football's cruel, but it could be a lot lot worse man.
First it was Arsenal are no longer a big 6 club. Then it was Arsenal can’t get into top 4. Then they said we will never compete for the league. Then they said we will never win it. Now they will say we can never win a Champions league. Please don’t let rivals rattle you.
The same way you and Steven Gerrard shouldn’t be considered Premier League greats because you never won the Premier League? @Carra23
Can we agree on that?
