Very sad to hear of the passing of Terry Yorath.
A terrific footballer, but above all a good man who gave so much to the game over many years.
Thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest in peace, Terry
๐ Energy bills rising again
๐ฐEnergy companies continue to rake in obscene profits
If the @GOVUK is serious about bringing down bills, it must tackle corporate #profiteering.
We need to bring back #PublicOwnership of our energy system, starting with the grid.
I just took action with @unitetheunion: Protect our ICU Nurses - end Fire & Rehire at Bassetlaw Hospital!. Take action here: https://t.co/v0FIs1hBay

Iโve no doubt this multi-millionaire, living in Thailand, donated out of deep concern for
Britainโs working-class.
Nothing says โanti-establishmentโ like record-breaking cheques from the ultra-rich.
Jonathan Gullis has defected to Reform.
Here he is saying thereโs not a โcats hell in chance will I be defecting, for me it takes courage of conviction and belief to stay within something & fight for what you believe inโ
He then calls chief whip Lee Anderson a liar.

Reform has dropped the act. They are openly Thatcherite now. The Conservatives are copying them, desperate to save their skins. That means lower taxes for the wealthy, financiers and corporations, deregulation, and cuts to services.
The best way to reduce support for the authoritarian right is to stand with people against profiteers in water and energy, and give real security: fair bills, council homes and services that work. This video is my Budget reaction, setting out why Labour must move quickly to break with this failed model.
"What scumbags are they? Theyโre in there doing your job, when youโre fighting to get wages up for everybody else, they should be ashamed of themselves." - Eddie Dempsey, @RMTunion, General Secretary speaking on the PCS #TateBritain Picket line.

The employment rights bill is a shell of its former self.
With #FireAndRehire and #ZeroHours contracts not being banned, the Bill is already unrecognisable.
These constant row backs will only damage workersโ confidence that the protections promised will be worth the wait. @UKLabour needs to keep its promises.
BUDGET 2026 | Workers and communities cannot continue to pay the price!
Everyday people paid for:
๐ก 2008 financial crash & austerity.
๐กCovid, some of them with their lives.
๐ก Why can't we simply tax the richest 1%, 1% more? Black hole gone! ๐ฝ๏ธโคต๏ธ #WealthTax#Budget2026
