AND VA and AL have different laws on how to map districts. VA law was violated. AL law was not. So there's that.

The VA Supreme Court determined that new VA map violated the VA Constitution so it can't be used. The old AL map was revised bc it was believed to violate the US Constitution bc it had carved out majority minority districts violating Callais. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
