@doctor_oxford@ianbirrell I've changed my mind on this. However much palliative care improves, when someone you love has a terminal illness it's possible for them to enjoy what time they have left but that's much harder if the prospect of a long and painful death hangs over them.
What a privilege to play a small part in celebrating @chriswarburton_ 's last day on the @bbc5live Weekend Breakfast show after 10 years. To celebrate here's the new version of Newsagent Beer https://t.co/Pl8Q9a2Vp1
Athletes walking out is giving me fire drill at work anxiety vibes. You donโt want to look like youโre on your own and if you are you desperately look for someone you know. . #ClosingCeremony
Thank God! Le Penโs right wing National Rally (aka National Front ๐ฉ) has lost the elections and wonโt govern France ๐ซ๐ท Libertรฉ, รgalitรฉ, Fraternitรฉ

At the start of my career leading Cav out was a joy. A fellow Brit, changing the landscape of cycling. To see what he did today, 16 years after his first Tour stage, is almost unbelievable. But, itโs Cav. Nothingโs unbelievable. Congrats mate. They donโt call you Sir for nothing
@itvcycling @nedboulting @millarmind@Petekennaugh Ooh and how could I forget, it even includes the lyrics "Take the painkiller, cycle on your bicycle
Leave all this misery behind"
@itvcycling @nedboulting @millarmind@Petekennaugh Stage 3 to Turin? Well itโs got it be โPain Killerโ by Turin Brakes. ( Turin โ brakes โ and errโฆ pain? โ )
